La Muneca y Los Muertos
Nick Lee
Trombone

Nick Lee's dedication to his trombone and music has led him to jazz standards, funk, latin, swing and SKA. He is a graduate from the University of Oregon with a major in Architecture and minor in Music & Art History. A few of his music favorites include Manu Chao, Madd Caddies, Jack Johnson, Beck, Charles Mingus, William Cepeda, Skatalites, Wayne Wallace, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Rancid, Miles Davis, Bird, Dizzie, and Skank.

When he's not performing, rehearsing or studing music theory, he is enjoying the surf, running his business, Green Light Concepts (decorative lamps made from traffic light lenses), blowing glass, drawing housing plans, or exploring many of his creative talents.

“The very wonderful La Muneca y Los Muertos rocks it from LA to SF and beyond with a unique blend of incisive poetry and ska revolution rock. Chica is a Muneca original that stayed in my head long after I saw this band tear up a sweaty San Francisco club last year. Glad to hear the recording is just as hot as the live version!”
